Wedding Catering: Main Lodge and Hilltop House
We welcome weddings and wedding receptions at Anderson Lodge and strive to make it a memorable experience for you and your family. Please examine the following Catering Guidelines. Feel Free to call the Anderson Lodge Office should you have any questions.

Catering Policy

  • In-House Caterer: Should you require catering, we ask that you utilize our staff. They are experienced and can provide fabulous fare for your reception and/or rehearsal dinner and for all meals during your stay. Our caterers are very familiar with our facility making the catered meal worry-free for you. You are in direct contact with our caterer to customize your meals to fit your needs.   • Outside Caterer: Should you acquire an outside caterer or pay anyone to prepare any meal at Anderson Lodge, please notify the lodge home office. 360 247 6660. A $300 kitchen fee is charged for an outside caterer at Anderson Lodge. Please request an “Outside Catering” form from the office if you wish to utilize this option.

  • Volunteer Only Catering: When family members are providing the food and serving the main event meal a $300 kitchen fee is charged. Please indicate this option on the rental agreement and notify lodge office.
  • 1. Tables and Chairs We provide tables and chairs, however our supply is limited. You may be required to rent furniture beyond what we have on hand. You are responsible for all placement, arrangement and decorations of tables and chairs. You are asked to return all equipment to original locations and remove all decorations.

    2. Table Cloths - You are welcome to use the cloth-backed vinyl table coverings we have at Anderson Lodge. We do not provide any other table linens.

    3. Dishes and utensils - We can provide dishes and utensils. Number of place settings varies between our facilities. Please inquire as to the amount we have. After this number, we will provide good quality paper plates and plastic ware for the meal.

    4. Set-up, service and clean up is provided for the catered meal. The meal offers a 4-hour total service, which includes serving, and clean up. Our staff will be responsible for the Anderson Lodge catering portion only. Any additional time past the 4-hour span, will be charged at an hourly rate. Any clean-up or set-up of drink service, cake and/or punch that Anderson Lodge is NOT providing will be the responsibility of the wedding party. Also, if you wish additional help in clearing of the dishes for items our caterer is not providing, let us know. This would include help with removing dishes from cake service, punch, beer or wine and taking care of trash that has accumulated. Our wait staff is very familiar with the site and can be extremely helpful. An hourly rate will be charged.

    There is a 10 can limit on trash. Please limit your waste to this amount. Please transport and dispose of any accumulation above this amount to a waste disposal site. All water bottles, liquor bottles, wine bottles, soda cans, cardboard packaging, decorations, etc. that you no longer want, please transport to a waste disposal site or recycling service center. A deduction from your damage deposit will apply if there is excessive trash to remove.

    5. Reception Room Policy Caters are responsible to clean the kitchen. If food has been left by the caterer for you to use, please clear, wash dishes and put away. All tables, chairs, and other room furniture must be placed back in their original positions. Check your supplies to make sure no Anderson Lodge items have mistakenly been taken home. If you have moved furniture, please put it back. DO NOT MOVE THE PIANO! Remember; be mindful of spills on the carpet and elsewhere.

    WEDDING RECEPTION CATERING
    You will be in direct contact with the Anderson Lodge caterer to make specific choices. Examples of the catering options are listed below. Children under 5 are free.
    • You are required to pay 1/3 of the estimated catering cost, at least 60 days in advance.
    • An exact catering count is due 20 days prior to your scheduled date. No reduction in cost will be made within that 20-day period.
    • Your complete catering bill is due 14 days prior to your event.
    • If more people are served, you will be charged for those extra guests.
    • Gratuity and tax not included in prices.

    Light Buffet: $18.00 per person
    An example of a light buffet would be: 3 choices of hot/cold hors d’oeuvres, 2 choices from our salad menu, a full assortment of cold cuts, fresh rolls and breads. If you wish an additional salad or hors d’oeuvre, add $2.00/person.

    Grand Buffet: $20.00 per person
    An example of a select buffet would be: 4 choices hot/cold hors d’oeuvres, 2 choices from our salad menu, fresh rolls, , salmon and/or chicken breasts, and potato/rice dish. For additional salad or hors d’oeuvre add $2.00/person.

    Barbecue Buffet: $20.00 per person
    An example of a barbecue buffet would be: barbecued chicken and ribs, fresh garden salad, sliced watermelon, potato salad, and rolls. Substitutions of meat and side dishes are available. Chicken and ribs are rotisserie cooked over an open pit with 100% mesquite charcoal, adding a tempting barbecue aroma to your outdoor event. Paper plates and plastic ware are used for this option.

    Grand Buffet Plus: Price to be determined by caterer
    An example of the Grand Buffet Plus would include: 4 choices hot/cold hors d’oeuvres, 2 choices from our salad menu, fresh rolls and breads, potato or rice dish, and a selection from our main entrée list.

    Anderson Lodge staff is not permitted to serve any alcoholic beverages
    Prices do not include tax or gratuity
    Client must obtain a Washington State Banquet Permit if alcohol is served
    There is a 7.6% tax on all catering services


    EXTENDED MEAL CATERING
    Catering is also available for meals beyond your reception event. Coffee, tea and water will be provided with the following meals. There is a 7.6% tax on all catering services .
