ALL CABINS are rented as a part of a large group rental of either the Main Lodge or the Hilltop House.   We do not rent the cabins, separately,  without being a part of the group rental.  The one exception to this is the special situation where one Lodge is rented and the other is not.  Example: A family reunion has rented the Main Lodge.  The Hilltop House is not rented for the same time period.  With this situation, we would allow families from the Main Lodge reunion, to rent a cabin or guest room at the Hilltop House.

Welcome to the Dalarna Cabin at the Main Lodge.  This wonderful Dalarna Cabin is on the 16 acre site of the Main Lodge and is a part of the rental for Main Lodge groups.  The cabin is set back in the woods by the Main Lodge tennis courts.It is built with the same Scandinavian style that makes all of our facilities so unique. The Dalarna Cabin has open beam rafters, full bathroom, wood stove, well equipped kitchenette, dining nook and sitting area and Swedish designed beds.  It sleeps up to 8 people. You must see this cozy cabin to realize the quality craftsmanship and beauty within.

The Dalarna Cabin offers a lodging for bridal couples, a family that needs extra privacy or maybe your guest speaker.  The beds with curtains to close for privacy makes this cabin very unique. It is completely self contained with a stove, microwave, sink, 1/2 refrigerator and dishes.  You will find a toaster and a coffee maker for your convenience.  There is a  BBQ on the deck so be sure to bring your briquettes! With this cabin you will find a hidden gazebo with a double porch swing and patio chair cluster.  It is surrounded by dense foliage and trees and is very romantic. (below)

The area of Dalarna in Sweden is where nature truly dominates.  We have taken photos of cabins that our relatives have in Dalarna and have used their creative use of woodworking in this cabin.  The beds are replicas of those that cousin Erik in Malung has in his summer cabin.   They are very unique.  Check out the photo on the wall that shows Arvid sitting in front of those beds in a Swedish cabin.

Jämtland Cabin, Hälsingland Cabin, and Småland Cabin

Welcome to the cabins at the Hilltop House.  These are fabulous little efficiency cabins on the Hilltop House site! They are located on the same grounds as the Hilltop House just northeast of the conference room. They are side by side. There is a separate parking area for the cabins. These lovely cabins are included in the rental of Hilltop House.  They offer privacy for a couple or a family; yet are close enough to the main facility that they are still a part of the event. Feel free to give us a call and we will arrange a time for you to see them. You can discover for yourself how fabulous they really are!

Hilltop Cabins

The cabins are compact in size but welcoming and cozy. Jämtland, Hälsingland, and Småland are provinces in Sweden.  We have relatives in each area. We are furnishing the cabins in Swedish style and use framed photgraphs of  each province of Sweden to adorn the walls.  Each has a couch that converts to a double bed on the main floor and 2 twin sized mattresses in the sleeping loft.

There is a small kitchen in each cabin with an under-counter refrigerator, stove top, and sink.  We have a coffee pot, toaster and mini George Foreman grill as well as dishes and utensils in the cabin.  Keep in mind that it is a compact space so no more than 4 people should use these cabins.

The Jämtland Cabin has photos of the Östersund and our relatives, the Jennervall family, on the walls.   See what life is like up north in Sweden.  The Hälsingland Cabin represents the area where Arvid’s father was born; a region very close to our hearts. The Småland Cabin is also an location where we have relatives and is a southern part of Sweden.  The practical and stylish sectional in each cabin pops up and converts to a double bed.  Our guests rave about how comfortable it is. Visiting our cabins gives you a taste of life in Scandinavia. 

The three cabins are identical in structure and amenities.  Be sure to bring your own bedding and towel/s or arrange to rent bedding from us.

CLEANING SERVICES
We ask that you clean the cabin after your stay and ready it for the next guest.  There are cleaning supplies in the cabin and a cleaning list of tasks to accomplish. It doesn’t take much time to complete the cleaning; They are small cabins!

You may also choose to leave the cleaning to us.  A fee will be charged for this service.  Please put back furniture, clean dishes used and put away, take person items and food away even if you do choose to have us complete the cleaning of the cabin.

BEDDING SERVICES
Most guests bring their own bedding but if you would like to rent bedding for your stay, that can be arranged.  Should you use our bedding please leave the sheets in the bags on the floor, towels on the bathroom floor and blanket and pillow on the couch.

Hilltop Cabins:   $25 per cabin
Dalarna Cabin:    $25 per cabin

If you clean according to checklist, this charge will be waived
