RECEPTION INFORMATION: MAIN LODGE and HILLTOP HOUSE
We welcome weddings and wedding receptions at Anderson Lodge and strive to make it a memorable experience for you and your family. Please examine the following Catering Guidelines. Feel Free to call the Anderson Lodge Office should you have any questions.  Also, please see Wedding FAQ page of our website to answer other questions relating to our wedding and reception offerings.
 
RECEPTION RESTRICTIONS: 
  • No tape or tacks may be used on the walls of any room. 
  • Candles must be in fire-proof containers.  Containers must exceed the height of the flame.
  • If your reception is using beer kegs, place them on the cement only.
  • Bring all wine, beer and liquor bottles back with you to dispose of.  Do not put them in the trash.
  • Never leave standing water on laminate flooring
  • Absolutely NO tents, cars, dance floors, tarps, tables or other such items on the wedding sites (gazebo or view site) at the Hilltop House
  • Hilltop House: Please do not drive up to the storage house by the gazebo by way of the wedding path area.  You may drive around back (north side) to load chairs in a vehicle and get close to the storage house.
  • Do not move piano in Hilltop conference room
 
Catering Policy
Prices do not include tax or gratuity
 
In-House Caterer: Should you require catering, we ask that you utilize our staff. They are experienced and can provide fabulous fare for your reception and/or rehearsal dinner and for all meals during your stay. Our caterers are very familiar with our facility making the catered meal worry-free for you. You are in direct contact with our caterer to customize your meals to fit your needs. Wedding Catering Sample Menus are available upon request.
 
Volunteer Only Catering: When family members volunteer to provide the food free of charge and serve the main event meal, a $150 per day kitchen fee is charged (self-catering). Please indicate this option on the rental agreement and notify lodge office.
 
Outside Caterer: Should you acquire an outside caterer or pay anyone to prepare any meal at Anderson Lodge, please notify the lodge home office. 360 247 6660. A $100-$300 kitchen fee is charged for an outside caterer at Anderson Lodge. See the Rental Agreement for the exact fees for your event.  Please request an “Outside Catering” form from the office if you wish to utilize this option. 

CATERING DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT

  • You are required to pay 1/3 of the estimated catering cost, at least 60 days in advance.
  • An exact catering count is due 20 days prior to your scheduled date. No reduction in cost will be made within that 20-day period.
  • Your complete catering bill is due 14 days prior to your event.
  • If more people are served, you will be charged for those extra guests.
  • Gratuity and tax not included in prices.

You will be in direct contact with the Anderson Lodge caterer to make specific choices. Children under 5 are free.

Our reception meals are are as delicious as they are pleasing to the eye.  Please note the buffet highlights below.  You will be in contact with your caterer to plan your menu selections and specific details of your buffet.  Sample menu items are available upon request. 

RECEPTION MEAL CHOICES:

Light Buffet: $18.00 per person
An example of a light buffet would be: 3 choices of hot/cold hors d’oeuvres, 2 choices from our salad menu, a full assortment of cold cuts, fresh rolls and breads. If you wish an additional salad or hors d’oeuvre, add $2.00/person.

Grand Buffet: $21.00 per person
An example of a Grand Buffet would be: 4 choices hot/cold hors d’oeuvres, 2 choices from our salad menu, fresh rolls, main entrée selection, and potato/rice dish. See below for menu choices. For additional salad or hors d’oeuvre add $2.00/person.  Fall and Spring tastings are available for our Grand Buffet.

Northwest Barbecue Buffet: $20.00 per person
Our Northwest Barbecue Buffet includes: Smokey barbecued chicken and ribs, fresh fruit and grilled garlic bread. Choose 4 side dishes such as: corn on the cob with herb butter, potato salad, zesty cole slaw, pasta salad, garlic mashed potatoes, smokey baked beans, fresh garden salad and more. Water, lemonade, and iced tea is available if requested. High quality paper plates are used for this option.  Add $1.00pp for china use. This mouth-watering BBQ buffet is an excellent option for either a rehearsal dinner or a main event meal.  What's more exciting than a Northwest barbecue-style meal!

Grand Buffet Plus: Price to be determined by Anderson Lodge and caterer.
An example of the Grand Buffet Plus would include: 4 choices hot/cold hors d’oeuvres, 2 choices from our salad menu, fresh rolls and breads, potato or rice dish, and a selection from our main entrée list. Most often the Grand Buffet Plus will offer a higher priced entrée selection.

EXTENDED MEAL CATERING
Catering is also available for meals beyond your reception event. Coffee, tea and water will be provided with the following meals. There is a 7.6% tax on all catering services .

BRUNCH:                                         $12.00 PER PERSON
BREAKFAST:                                   $ 10.00 PER PERSON
CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST:            $ 8.00 PER PERSON
DINNER:                                           $17.00 PER PERSON

*ADDINTIONAL STAFF: Should you require addtional help for your event, call the Anderson Lodge office.  Advance notice is necessary to arrange for wait staff. They would be glad to help with dishes, trash removal, clearing and setting up, etc. Wait staff are not available for serving or preparing your food items but can help with non-food related duties.  An hourly wage per person will be charged to your final bill should you request additional staff.

*We have 150 indoor chairs and 150 outdoor chairs for your event. We also have many bistro tables with chairs on our decks and patios for your use.  We provide china for 150 people. For meals over 150 people, we will provide quality paper plates.
