As a matter of fact, we JUST had our own 25th anniversary celebration with over 100 guests. The memory of our amazing event still overwhelms me! Our grandchildren and children greeted out guests as they arrived offering them a cool beverage and welcoming them to our Lodge. After mingling and greeting, we gathered together in the conference room. Here we had a chance to introduce the whole family and the friends that traveled from afar to be there. People told funny stories of course, and we laughed and even sang a few songs. The buffet was wonderful with guests eating on the deck, picturesque dining patio, or in the conference room. Dessert was in the pavilion with many toasts and a whole lot of laughter. The evening progressed with songs from our special friends who provided music for the evening. It was a glorious event socializing under the stars with the magical outdoor lighting that resembled the stars in the sky. But it didn't end there! Our relatives and a few friends spent the night and we all had brunch the next morning before saying our final good byes. See what I mean? The memory just overwhelms me!

What does a celebration look like at Anderson Lodge?
Your immediate family or close friends can arrive on say, Friday. You have a nice dinner or potluck, whatever you desire. Everyone stays the night after a late night of conversation, pinochle, Wii or a great movie.
The next day you can get up and have a leisurely morning catching up on the latest family news. After a light lunch you can prepare for the afternoon or evening event. A cluster of cooks can gather in the kitchens cooking up a storm, or you can arrange for a catered meal. The big dinner can be the highlight of your event with plenty of stories giving it a personal touch. Celebrating can go into the evening and you don't have to worry about people having to leave early to drive home.
Sunday brings a nice brunch. Enjoy the many hugs and good byes. Then you pack up thinking how wonderful it was to celebrate in this way. Imagine the conversations when you get back home, about how spectacular the celebration was, how great it was to see long lost friends and the gratefulness to you for such a successful occasion!
This example is a 2 day plan, however, many celebrations are one day events and some last several days. YOU make the plan and YOU decide how to customize your stay to fit your needs.

We rent on a reservation basis only. We are open all year round. Each season offers its own unique advantage. Our price list offer seasonal rates and special mid-week rates. Catering is optional. Contact our home office to make reservations. Visitations are arranged by appointment only.

Lodging
Both the Hilltop House and the Main Lodge have wonderful sleeping areas. You aren’t roughing it at all! Guest rooms range from 2 beds to 10 beds. Some have single beds, some have double beds. You are welcome to utilize alternative sleeping arrangements by using our conference room with mattresses on the floor, to increase the sleeping numbers. We also have RV areas if someone in your group wants to bring their own RV. Inquire at the Lodge office if you are interested in this option.
• The Main Lodge has beds for 40 – 60 guests.
• The Dalarna Cabin is on the Main Lodge on site. This cabin is an optional rental and provides another 4 double beds, Kitchen and bathroom.
• The Hilltop House has beds for 32, (12 double beds and 8 single beds).
• Three cabins are also on the Hilltop House site. These cabins are optional rentals but do provide extra sleeping and bathroom space. Each cabin has 1 double bed and 2 single beds.
Bathroom, kitchen, conference room and dining areas are well suited to large gatherings. Accommodating large groups is done with ease with our spacious rooms and amenities.
Catering is available at both the Main Lodge and the Hilltop House. Or, you can choose to do your own cooking. You have full use of our kitchens, dishware, flatware, serving dishes, pots, pans, etc. There is a fee for self-catering for use of our supplies and commercial appliances. Our caterers are in direct contact with you to arrange for menus and mealtimes. We offer buffet, full service or even sack lunch meals. We specialize in making your meals fit the needs of you group.
The kitchens are well equipped and the dining areas are large enough for your whole group. When you visit either the Main Lodge or the Hilltop House you will be absolutely amazed at the outdoor dining areas with spectacular views. Groups renting in warmer weather often can be seen at the barbecue or roasting hot dogs in the outdoor amphitheater.
Activities
Both facilities have ping-pong and pool tables, pianos and TV’s with DVD. The Main Lodge has 2 saunas that are for group use. We even have wireless internet at both the Main Lodge and the Hilltop House.
Anderson Lodge is located on over 90 acres of forest land. There are hiking trails throughout the area. In addition to hiking, we have softball and soccer fields, children’s play areas, horseshoe pits and volleyball and badminton areas. Our son would never forgive us if we did not have a basketball hoop! The tennis courts are another popular spot for many lodge guests. The opportunities for fun are endless!
Our spacious pavilions surrounded by forest, seat over 100 people and are perfect for large group experiences. The outdoor patios overlook the natural beauty of the forest and valley that we are so known for. You just have to come up and see how spectacular the setting is at Anderson Lodge.
The Lodge is located in the midst of 10 miles of lakes, full of recreational possibilities. Sunday – Thursday, these areas are less populated and well worth the trip. The closest is Speelyai Fish Hatchery and Recreation area which is 2 miles west of Anderson Lodge. Here you will find a swimming, fishing and picnicking area and a boat launch. This is a popular outing for all our guests. Summer mid-week these recreational areas are accessible but on weekends the more popular areas are often full.
Lewis River Golf Course is 10 miles from the lodge and many groups incorporate this into their retreat schedule. Don’t forget the Lelooska Native American Cultural Center is just a few minutes away. If you are interested in attending a show, find their website address in our “LINKS” section. We are also close to the Mt. St. Helens National Monument. Hiking in the Ape Caves is one of our favorite activities. Winter groups often time take time out to play in the snow on Mt. St. Helens. No matter what the season, the natural setting and homey atmosphere at Anderson Lodge will enhance any retreat!

Meeting Options
Many times celebrations require both large and small meeting areas. There are many options for a formal dinner, a party or presentations. You will find our conference rooms and our newly constructed pavilions ideal for large group activities. Conference rooms are fully carpeted, equipped with conference tables and plenty of space for dinners or any gathering. We only rent to one group at a time so you are not competing with any other group for a particular room. Of course, all our facilities have pianos and guitars to further enrich your experience.
No matter where you are, you will be immediately impressed with the fine attention to detail and quality craftsmanship of Anderson Lodge. You will be amazed at the beautiful woodworking at all the facilities. We strive to make Anderson Lodge have a comforting, home-like atmosphere. Pricing
The Andersons offer affordable pricing for weekend and mid-week gatherings, September – May. In the summer, our celebrations often take place on mid-week days. This allows our guests to fully take advantage of the local area recreation. Weekend celebrations in the summer are challenging to reserve as it is the peak wedding season. Summer weekends are also priced differently with packages that include exclusive use of lodge & cabins and allow unlimited guests. If you wish to have your celebration on a summer weekend, wedding prices would apply.
We have 2 pricing schedules for celebrations. Retreat pricing and Wedding pricing.
For retreat pricing, cabin rentals are extra and you are charged a per person rate for your guests. Guests just coming up for the day, say for a big dinner or bbq commemorating the occasion, would be charged as an overnight guest. For example, if you had 35 people for 2 nights but wanted to invite 50 more people to come for a dinner and evening on one day, you would be charged for 85 guests on that day.
For wedding pricing, cabin rentals are included in the price and you would have exclusive use to the whole property. Since we do not count guests for wedding pricing, you have an unlimited number for guests. You can have as many people as you wish to spend the night and as many people as you are comfortable with to come up for your big celebration.
